Historical Museum of Haguenau (Alsace, France)

Documentary research, writing, adaptation and implementation of an audio-guided visit via podcasting

Here, the objective was to use podcasting to cover the entire museum. Our mission included:

  • writing, recording and processing/optimization of 1:30 hrs of voice-off in three languages (French, German and English). This will be done in cooperation with a conservation team (for the content) and a technical crew from the City of Haguenau’s mayor’s office to make audio files available on the Museum’s website for thematic visits.
  • in order to accompany the visitor, the design of clear signage and floor plans for exhibition rooms, a real “map” or “menu” of audio files.

Originality of the concept: the visitor can step outside the museum to discover the surroundings.
