Museum Louis Mandrin

Our mission: graphic research, content definition, development of movie screenplays, dialogs and scripts writing.

The Museum Louis Mandrin offers an interactive, immersive experience into the life of 18th century smugglers. Visitors use storytelling audiovisual devices to discover the exciting adventures in Louis Mandrin’s life and his smuggling activities in Savoy.

The exhibition spaces— in five large rooms— plunge the visitor in the core of an audiovisual device, which “directs” the historical characters in a theatrical and interactive way. The audience “becomes” smugglers who discuss with actors portraying (Mandrin’s cohorts, bystanders) story protagonists.

The interactive experience has two basic components:

  • Telling an overall historical narrative, and
  • Anticipating possible visitor reactions to immerse them in the story.

Anamnesia researched and analyzed archives to check historical accuracy of events and characters. We also worked on the “stage directions” to give rhythm to the narrative and provide an entertaining theatrical experience as well as an interactive learning environment.
The visitor’s role is entirely interactive; indeed, the actors who play Mandrin and his men will literally interact with the visitors— all based on options derived from our overall script.
