Missions: EAST Anamnesia is dedicated to cultural counsel & expertise.

Its three main activities refer to the different steps of the museum or exhibition project:

• Museographic program implementation
• Mediation scripts
• Link between the client & the coordinator

COUNSEL & EXPERTISE

EAST Anamnesia offers the client assistance for all the aspects linked to the museum or exhibition project: technical expertise for the artifacts conservation, help for spatial disposition of the works & installations and architectural programming, study about the best way to use mediation tools according the different kinds of publics.

EAST Anamnesia has two main priorities: the link with the public and the respect of the different forms of expression and interpretations of the underlying message of the museum or exhibition project.

In this way, the museum is thought according to three different points of view:

• The scientific, artistic or historic contents
• The mediation
• The link with the public

In a further way, once reached a later step of the project, EAST mission is also to enable the client to keep a total control of the project follow-up. Therefore, the client is guaranteed of a perfect understanding & optimal lecture of the architectural and museographic intentions. The client owns thus all the elements to react in real time in connection with the project steps.

ARCHITECTURAL & MUSEOGRAPHIC MEDIATION

An important part of EAST mission is to assure the coordinator a perfect understanding of the client’s demands and intentions.
EAST intervention next to the architects enables the entire architectural project to organize itself in an appropriate way. Above the technical or creative pressure, EAST helps to point the architectural speech on the cultural issues, in a complete respect of the client’s wishes.
This version, adapted to architecture, ends in the elaboration of a forested and solid project, built-up according to the different interpretation axis.

EAST Anamnesia does not provide directly exhibit design or museographic activities. Its intention is rather to assist the museographist in the building of a visit journey, certifying relevancy and coherency of the exhibition spaces with the client’s goals in mediation. Its evaluation is based on a rereading and a scientifically argued interpretation of the client’s purpose.

Thus, EAST Anamnesia has a double interface part:

• With the client (project appropriation, understanding, intervention capacity)
• With the coordinator (synthesis & translation of the client’s purpose)
