Our mission: development of an interactive application, “the World’s weather”
La Cité de l’espace, located in Toulouse, offers visitors to conquer the cosmos, by introducing them to techniques and major technological advances that have allowed the space adventure.
The Cité opened a new permanent exhibition, the “weather center”, whose objective is to enable visitors to better understand the importance of weather in the space conquest. Within this framework, we have developed an interactive application, “the World’s weather”, composed of a sphere and a touch screen to interact with it. The application is driven by real-time data from Météo France, and compares the weather data from 1800 cities around the world.
