Our mission:
- Cultural programming
The former Butchers’ cooperative of Schiltigheim is today at the core of a project of rehabilitation into a facility dedicated to plastic arts creation and exhibition. It also aims at welcoming artists in residence.
This project is part of a local network of creation and diffusion of contemporary arts and feeds on the experience of the artistic facilities that exist in the territory.
It also answers a strong expectation coming from the artists.
At least, it has an education dimension, as it will organize workshops and training programs led in collaboration with the Ecole nationale des Arts décoratifs of Strasbourg.
As a polymorphic site, its program is characterized by:
- An in-depth listening of all the local partners of the project;
- A great pragmatism for the preservation of the existing building, while affirming its capacity of adaptation to artistic activities and the welcome of a diverse audience.
